Quiver vs ProBikeGarage
They are aimed at two different jobs. ProBikeGarage is a maintenance tracker: it tells you when the chain is worn. Quiver is a spec catalog: it tells you what the chain actually is, what it cost, and where that answer came from.
The short version
Pick ProBikeGarage if the thing you want is service reminders and component wear tracking driven by your Strava mileage, and you are fine paying every year.
Pick Quiver if the annoying part is the record itself: you own several bikes, you have changed parts on them, and you want a build sheet that fills itself in from a catalog rather than one you type by hand. Quiver does not do maintenance reminders.

What ProBikeGarage does better
It is older, it is on both phone platforms today, and it has far more riders using it. If chain-wear and service intervals are the reason you are looking for an app at all, it does that job and Quiver does not.
What Quiver does better
You do not build the record. The catalog does. Name a 2024 Santa Cruz Hightower in size L and you get the factory build back, part by part, with a recorded source for each spec and a clear mark on anything unconfirmed. Stock parts and your upgrades stay easy to tell apart, per-size geometry is there when you are shopping for the next bike, and the total invested is right there when you sell or insure. And it is one payment, not a yearly one.
Can you use both?
Yes, and some people should. They barely overlap: Quiver holds what the bike is, ProBikeGarage watches how worn it is getting.
Competitor details are from their own public pages and were checked in August 2026. Prices and features change. If you spot something out of date here, email [email protected] and we will correct it.
